Jerry
Kay Nugent
Jerry moved from a big city in Long Island to a small city in Vermont to work at IBM. He purchased an old brick house with seven acres of land for his family. He decided to raise pigs for food for his family. He studied on his own and soon had a litter of piglets. He even learned how to castrate them. Some of the local farmers came to him to get advice. As the pigs grew, he was able to feed his family bacon, ham and pork. Jerry loved to tell stories to entertain guests, and they were usually about his pigs. As he grew older and his memory failed, he was no longer able to do this. This is the reason for this book!
