The merits of evolution and the concepts that the beginning of life and even the very beginning of the universe happened by chance are challenged in this novel. The story revolves around a school teacher, fired for teaching intelligent design, who hires the main character, prominent lawyer John Taylor, to file a wrongful termination suit. The known problems of evolution versus the merits of intelligent design are highlighted in the cross exam of the atheist cosmologist. You will sit in one of the juror's chairs as the lawyer and the expert dramatically cross swords and the pressure builds as the judge forces them to explain their positions logically. The end of the trial has some surprising twists which I believe you will find entertaining.
