Skagerrak
W J Kreeger
Born under unusual circumstances just after the end of WWII in Norway, Wallie survives the crossing of the SKAGERRAK strait to begin his life in Germany with his mother and stepfather. His story takes the reader on a journey through his first fifteen years, beginning with family complications, disillusionment and questions about belonging. Wallie finds himself tossed about, but he adjusts to a new setting with his father and a foster family and the many adventures along the way. He finds himself questioning everything, including God. Ultimately, an opportunity arises from out of the blue and prepares him for his next crossing, this time to say Goodbye to everyone he knows, as his father puts him on a plane headed to America.
