-A Pride and Prejudice Variation- When the eligible Mr Charles Bingley finally takes possession of Netherfield Park, he is found to be everything desirable in a man: wealthy, handsome, agreeably mannered, and yet too late to pursue the lovely Jane Bennet who has betrothed herself to Mr Collins for the sake of her family's estate. Her sister, Elizabeth, is distraught over the engagement, and although aware of an unspoken attraction between Jane and Mr Bingley, she is powerless to alter her sister's inevitable future without encouraging a scandal.
