Social entrepreneur Rosette Nabuuma was born into a polygamist Ugandan family and grew up with 27 siblings. Despite the culture of her community, her father made sure to provide his daughters with the best education he could. Thus, she became a founding member and Director of the Candle Light Foundation, an organization dedicated to the empowerment and support of women and girls in Uganda. This is the inspiring story of how a village woman has changed thousands of lives, allowing many to surpass the disadvantage and poverty they were born into, and live the dreams they had always had for themselves and their children.
