I Keep a Record of My Prayers
Andreas Landman
This book helps you keep track of your prayers. Prayer is communication with God. Keeping a record of your prayers is not essential to your relationship with God. Some people will benefit from keeping a Prayer Journal - to keep a record of their prayers. Please do not mistake a cerebral relationship with God, for an intimate relationship with God. If Journaling is your thing, please enjoy writing down your conversation with God. The guide suggested year is one I used a long time ago. I was reminded of the prayer acronym ACTS while listening to an Audible presentation by Ken Blanchard: Personal Excellence, Where Achievement and Fulfilment Meet. You can find many written explanations on the internet; I choose to share the following explanations from the Dummies series: Ensure that your Christian prayer is complete by remembering ACTS - not the book of the Bible, but the acronym. The ACTS method of Christian prayer goes like this: Adoration: Give God praise and honor for who he is as Lord over all. Confession: Honestly deal with the sin in your prayer life. Thanksgiving: Verbalize what you're grateful for in your life and in the world around you. Supplication: Pray for the needs of others and yourself.https: //www.dummies.com/religion/christianity/the-acts-method-of-christian-pray
