It's a safe bet that you've got significant changes and challenges looming in the future. The way we look at this world we live in will significantly impact how we respond to each fork in the road. When I was a college freshman I had few bearings to guide my decisions. I was like a motor-less boat floating down the stream of the world's current, carried to an unknown destination. Yet by God's grace I was called out of the world. I was made alive in Christ. My spiritual eyes were opened to see that I was not floating on a stream, but on a raging river that was hurtling me to destruction. Not only that, but the drifting boat of my life was given a motor - the Holy Spirit, who gave me not only new desires, but new abilities. The wrong things I used to enjoy but was powerless to change, I now abhorred and was enabled to leave them behind. My life had been reversed. I was now heading directly upstream against the powerful influences of the world. My life had been completely turned upside-down. I had entered the Upside-down Kingdom.
