Karl is a soldier of the nibirian civil engineering on the way home. The geoclimatic upheavals that are increasingly affecting Nibiru, his homeland, due to the imminent destruction of a second planet of the solar system, Tiamat, have ended up ravaging many of the road infrastructures of the area he is going through. The only possible alternative is little more than a mountain path, one of the so-called 'ancient streets' that, overcoming some mountainous reliefs, would allow him to reach the 'Big Main Road' and, with it, the security to rejoin his family. But it's necessary to cross a bridge that, because of an unknown phenomenon, seems to make disappear into air thin those who try to overcome it.
