There are many people in the New Testament who have no background or story attached to them. They are fleeting characters that appear in name only or by deed only, such as the recipients of Jesus' wondrous miracles. How did the miracles affect the rest of their lives and the lives of those close to them? Did God use them to complete his purposes as he often does? "The Proven Messengers" is the sequel to "The Unlikely Messenger". The story is a fictional account of some of these characters, led by the first leper that Jesus healed. The story is weaved around the lives of those that were touched by Jesus but as far as we know, from what is recorded in the bible, played no other part in the establishment of Christ's church. With Jesus in the center, the books give an intriguing but fictional account of how their encounters with Jesus changed their lives and how they could have helped Jesus spread his message.
