The art of poetry has been somehow eschewedover the years and that is tragic. As the soul speaks in rhyme and metered tonesit can be beautiful, tragic, mysterious, magical, and sensuous all in one. It often moves us to tears, and even allows usto think and see in a totally different mind-set. A single line or verse can spark a never endingfire of imagination. I say,"Let those fires be fanned into an unquenchableflame, enlightening the heart and soulfor years to come.
