Lorelle would rather spend her time leaf-surfing with her pixie friend Peat than practicing for the Fairy Princess Pageant, where all Woodland Fairies have to compete. Her sister Gabby is going to win anyway, so what's the point? But when Lorelle goes to the pageant, she meets Shaylee, a butterfly fairy whose mother hasn't prepared her for the pageant. As Lorelle helps her, she gets the chance to show off her own talents, and she and her fellow Roses learn what it really takes to be a Fairy Princess.
