A gambler looking to prove that he is still as bad as he is travels further west to see what trouble he can find. He finds more than he can bargain for when a beautiful settler finds him in a spot of trouble and takes him into her wagon train. As he is healing from a bad run in with a bull whip weilded by a disgruntled poker match patron, he finds something he never thought he would be lucky enough to gain, a community and family who not only welcome him but need him. As the train continues west, a greedy land owner wants to take the settler's claim to their land, or their lives. It is up to the healing gambler and the ex-law man leading the wagon train to keep the others safe and moving.
