In the journey set before us in this series, we will trace the Creator's triune self-disclosures throughout the Narrative of Finitude. The title 'Before the Beginning' fittingly inscribes the signpost standing before us at the start of our journey. Most adventures like this start at the beginning of our universe. Beyond this signpost lies our objective to rediscover the essential nature and oneness of the Triune God at the "Dawn of Creation." In the beginning, God first took up immanency. God first began to dwell 'below' not just 'above.' We seek to learn about what God was like even before He said, 'Let there be light' (Gen 1:3). We seek knowledge of the existence of Yahweh beyond His influence on and engagement with His Creation. Hence, this series is dedicated to the study of the Infinite I AM in total transcendence.
