In PASSAGE INTO PROLOGUE the writer takes the reader on a condensed journey through eight million years of human biological and socio-economic evolution. The journey shows how evolution has been a cruel master and how survival has depended on the ability to learn, adapt and grow to succeed. It shows how we are endowed with the capabilities to be the formulators of our own success. To this end the writer proposes a more comprehensive definition of success which points to an underlying dynamic via engagement of the synergistic processes of (biological) neuroplasticity and (social) memetics.
