Twenty years ago, an evil sorceress wiped the Quena race off the face of the earth, before she was defeated. The fate of this race, and the rest of Lavania's inhabitants, rests in the hands of an unaware young woman nestled in the small town of Cormion. Only she can stop Senawin, and the dark sorceress knows this. Forced to flee her home before she is found, Lani embarks on a quest to retrieve the fabled weapon that will stop Senawin and save the world. But the quest provides more questions than it does answers and Lani, along with her companions, learn there is a bigger danger than they ever realized threatening their very existence......and what it will cost to stop it.
