It encourages to be a sophist, to love and serve to own nation. It teaches to be quit while you get an achievement not to boast. Effort is much important. There may be a way if we try in right way. Don't think of the result first. The fear of failure may divert you. For this Lord Krishna had told- 'You have the right of work not of the result (Karmanyewadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadachana.....).
