Murder Mystery Book The Haunting Of Owl Creek After a series of unfortunate events, things finally seem to have turned around for Ellen. She is married to a kind and handsome man, she has a beautiful daughter, and she has a promising career. The only thing missing is a house to call home. Ellen finds the small apartment where she and her family have been living no longer suitable so she and her husband start looking for the perfect house. After months of searching, Ellen comes across a house that sounds too good to be true. Located in an affluent part of town, the house has everything Ellen and her family are looking for. Shortly after moving in, however, strange things begin happening; doors opening by themselves, objects disappearing or moving on their own, and the ghostly image of a young girl who seems intent on getting Ellen's attention. Ellen begins to question her own sanity and, in an effort, to prove she isn't going crazy, Ellen starts to dig into the history of her house. Along with her best friend Marcie, Ellen quickly learns that sometimes it's best to leave the past buried. As Ellen desperately tries to discover the connection between the past and the present, she finds herself playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a killer who has already claimed the lives of two young women. If Ellen doesn't figure out the truth soon, she may be the next victim.
