I am more and more convinced that many well-intentioned Christians live far below their promises from God or presume upon God for too much of the "good life," whatever that may mean. We want to live on the "mountain top" of God's favor, but too often find ourselves in the valley of trouble and outright despair. We have to learn how to live victoriously in the valleys of life with God. I believe this is not only possible, but should be the Christian "normal" for those wishing to live Christ-centered lives.
