Reading the Qur'an in Arabic Mustafa Umar

The purpose of this work is to teach people how to read the Qur'an in its original language. The Qur'an is the word of God and was revealed in Arabic. Any translation of the Arabic text is only an approximation of the meaning of the Qur'an and can never equal the original. Therefore, promoting recitation in the Arabic language helps to preserve the Qur'an. This is one of the reasons why recitation of the Qur'an in Arabic is considered an act of worship in Islam.
