The Junior Pet Vets is a book that was written as part of the social emotional learning curriculum of Acres of Hope. Acres of Hope is a transitional living and life renewal center for women and children coming out of trauma and homelessness. Our curriculum was designed to teach emotional intelligence and growth mindset to children aged 0-5. The curriculum also draws heavily from Theraplay. This book covers the topics - giving nurturing care and taking responsibility. There is a link in the book to activities and projects you can use to compliment the book. All proceeds of this book benefit the children's program at Acres of Hope
