Bohannon Moore is a cartoon strip created by cartoon artist S. C. Welton. Welton started writing the cartoons in January 1989 in the privacy of his own room in his grandparents' house. Bohannon Moore is the lazy, disrespectful toward authority caretaker for a group of young orphans who are not afraid to express their opinions of anything in general, even to the point of being untidy and smelly. They all answer to Penderbelt, a cranky old woman who owns the orphanage and spends her entire life waiting for a letter from area headquarters that never comes. They fail at almost everything, except for one thing-delighting us in laughter on every page!
