Zach Larson, host of a popular monster-hunting reality television show, has decided to spend a relaxing weekend at a resort in the small town of Tahoma Valley, near Mount Rainier. After his arrival, he discovers that members of an online forum called Bigfoot Online Group have also come to town. They are in the area to look for evidence of the legendary creature as sightings have become more frequent in recent weeks. Zach's interest in their search rises when he stumbles across evidence of recent Bigfoot visits around the town. When he meets Autumn Hunter, his neighbor at the resort and a fan of the show, he learns more about her BOG team and their frustrations in trying to find the creature. With the local people seemingly trying to keep secrets from the visitors, Zach decides to satisfy his own curiosity and help Autumn and her friends hunt for Bigfoot.
