Kasey Marrok has been a Texas Ranger for four years now and he has a reputation for finding people who run. A convicted killer escapes prison and Marrok joins the hunt along with a U. S. Marshal. Theories abound as each minute ticks by, some begin to believe that the fugitive is a vampire of sorts. As the hunt continues, Marrok finds himself revealing his own long kept supernatural secret to a college professor who is also much more than he seems on the surface.
