Havannah's life was turned upside down at a young age starting with the tragic loss of her best friend and cousin Nicole. Nicole died at the hands of her mom's boyfriend on a weekend visit. When a nasty run-in with one of the school's bullies could have left her with more than a scratched face was prevented, Havannah decided that day was the day to take on her new friend Desiree.
