The text forms both a literary device and thought prompt, providing the reader a platform to repose, reflect, and respond to the author using her words to recreate their individual interpretation or vision. Tangerine Dreams is a verse-journal in which the author asks the reader to hold a mirror up to their fears, desires, and dreams...to explore the abyss...the ocean that can never be drank.
