Imagine you are trying to find your way out of a deep, dark cave that is blocked. You find that you must first press into the deepest, darkest part of it--where you cannot even see--where the air is the most stale--in order to reach the pile of rocks that must be removed--one by one--in utter darkness--so that you may get to the Light of free, open air on the other side. If you give up when it gets the darkest, you can't make it to the other side-where the air is fresh, the space is wide open, and you are finally free to run, dance, and feel the wonderful breeze of freedom on your face.
