Larry is a car salesman working a very crooked angle: the seduction, devourment and dismemberment of his clientele-not to mention, the abduction of their children for his barren wife. Unlike most car salesmen, Larry is a lizard from a world not our own. Following the murder of his detestable wife, Larry travels to the 'world beneath many surfaces', the place where he was born, where the Queen of his kind sits upon a great oyster throne. Larry's journey is fraught with strange occurrences as he travels a path homeward to his Queen; from out the primordial sea-place of his birth-, across barren sands and through a dense jungle, following closely, always, the Path of Bone set underfoot.
