The "new normal," where couples sit together in silence while they're consumed with their phone, has to be addressed, and while I don't have all the solutions for this problem, I'm willing to engage in the conversation and call it what it is: a relational disconnection. We are better than this! Our spouses deserve more from us than a warm body with a detached mind, drifting through the vastness of the internet. Presence matters, and I hope these thoughts inspire you to reflect and make changes.
