Loose Change The Frankfurt Writers' Group

Here, Loose Change doesn't refer to the collection of coins we occasionally find in coat pockets or at the bottom of handbags, but to the fact that the short stories and reflections in this compilation are all loosely connected with change-be it geographical, or emotional. Change can be a farewell, a change of heart, an unexpected loss. It can be a small change-a minor shift in views or attitudes, or a monumental upheaval. We can initiate change or find ourselves at its mercy. Change, or rather changes, in whatever form, come with life-and living. Here are some of ours. Spanning cultures, generations and walks of life, we, The Frankfurt Writers' Group, write fiction and non-fiction. Our work consists of short stories, novel chapters, journal entries, poetry, or children's literature. Many of our pieces have become published novels, articles for magazines or newspapers, or have been featured on-air, including with National Public Radio in the USA.
