This book isn't for everyone. It's fairly, well, weird. However, we like weird, and we have found that most students do, too. Short and Sweet is a book of 28 reproducible creative writing activities. The activities help students stretch their imaginations and have fun with writing at the same time.

Most activities can be completed in less than a class period, with time left over for sharing. You can stop there or go on to let students complete more finished, polished works. For grades 5?9, but many older students will enjoy the book as well.
