This book contains a total of 14,400 squares of order 5 and 3,250 squares of order 4 (17,650 in total) which all have the peculiar property of each row, column and diagonal summing to the number 260. Now instead of thinking of these squares as recreational tools I would invite the investor to use this book in the same way as an astronomer and geometer would use tables of logarithms.
