Two parallel worlds, two children.

One where they have the trauma of living with domestic abuse in the real world, the other in the WOL (World of Light) where they are shown ways to cope with their life at home.

The children meet their Frangels in the WOL where they are taught to dreamwalk, helping them cope with their difficult life at home in the real world. The WOL is full of adventures, as they fly with dinosaurs and Unicorns, eat candy floss grass and have more fun than they have ever known.

But, in the WOL, the Wartons are miserable and hate to see anybody happy. They are determined to destroy the magical rainbow which sends happiness and healing to those who need it in the earthly world. The children try to help the Frangels stop the Wartons reaching the rainbow, which is made difficult by their ability to change their appearance to anything they chose.

Can the Frangels help Dawn and Danny cope at home? Can the children stop the Wartons from destroying the rainbow? Can Danny keep the Frangels a secret?

This book, gets across a very important message, dealing with the heavy subject of domestic abuse, in a light manner, with the use of humour, which will keep children, and adults, turning the pages to the end.
