As he turns 12, a twist of fate finds James suddenly one of the key operatives in the undercover world of Creaturespeak - where animals and humans communicate, and where two factions try to either destroy mankind, or help them, in order to save the planet from extinction.




Disturbingly, James' missing father is rumoured to have joined the group calling themselves Misants, who want to wipe humanity from the face of the Earth. How could that possibly have happened?




James joins a band of Lifelink operatives - the supporters of humanity - on a mission to stop a Misant attack. He knows he risks coming face-to-face with his father, but finds he had no idea of the real dangers ahead.
