Reem A. Alhajji
Reem Alhajji is an Emirati Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah in UAE. She holds a PhD in Education, MA in Translation, and BA in Education. Alhajji finds cultural identities that are shaped by languages to be quite intriguing. She believes that language learners should internalize new norms in the target language to facilitate the comprehension of cultural barriers and get competent in various cultural contexts to overcome misinterpretations.
