Elaine Hopkins has spent most of her life being confused. No surprises there: she didn't discover she had dyspraxia, a condition that affects coordination, balance, memory, and speech, until she was 59. Determined not to let this label limit her, she decided to walk the Camino de Santiago - and changed her life forever.

Five years and 5,000 km on the Camino later, Elaine is no longer confused. She now spends her time walking, writing, and speaking in her quest to spread the word that we can all be more than our labels and conditions.
