The Dayton Air Show: A Photographic Celebration is a stunning collection of more than 200 gorgeous photographs from more than 21 years of what is now titled the Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger. Ty Greenlees and Timothy R. Gaffney covered the air show together over those years as newspaper journalists. Now they have distilled their years of coverage into this beautiful keepsake volume. With film and later digital cameras, Greenlees has captured the Thunderbirds, Blue Angels, military jet demonstrations, warbirds, civilian performers, parachutists, rotary wing aircraft, and more often from the air. Gaffney explains how the air show reflects the regions aviation heritage and showcases the aerospace work that continues across the region today.
