The first in a series of children's stories featuring the adventures of a boy and his grandfather, Grandpa's New Kitty begins with the search for a long missing cat. The cat's name is Bruce and as Grandpa says, "He's a sweet old kitty, polite and quite mellow, with dark orange stripes and fur that is yellow." Yet, search as they may, Bruce is not to be found. It is only with the help of a musical neighbor that their quest ends with success.
