He lives in Half Moon Bay, California. Brian E. Small has been a full-time professional bird and nature photographer for more than 20 years. He served as the photo editor for the American Birding Association s membership magazine, "Birding," for the past 15 years. He lives in Los Angeles." He hols a Zoology degree and a Masters degree in Ecology and evolution from the University of Toronto.
