There are many strange stories that just cannot be explained. This is a collection of reported mysterious disappearances, odd happenings, sightings of little people and very strange, unexplained tales. My mysterious adventure into the unknown began in August 1942. When I was only ten years old, I saw a little man, perhaps a foot tall, standing on a window ledge. It wasn?t just an adolescent hallucination. I continued to be fascinated by unexplained mysteries and other?s who had stories of little people. An article about my encounter appeared in an upstate New York weekly paper in 1989. Over the weeks, dozens of letters arrived from people describing their own encounters or similar tales from family members and friends. These tales of the Little People come from the Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York and have been gathered from people who live in the region. Over the years, dozens of people have sent me their personal encounters or tales of little people they once heard from family members. These stories may sound unbelievable, but they were quite real to those who experienced these events. The following stories are a glimpse into a world that lies on the fringes of our reality. Only occasionally will these mysteries reveal themselves. This is one of those times?
