God loves us so much that He gave us Scripture, which provides the foolproof guidelines for life-His written Word, The way to avoid the tar pits is to walk in God's guidelines; otherwise, our flesh and the enemy can sway us into falling back into old habits. We must remember that our flesh is at enmity with God and the Bible is our daily lifeline; it's our safety net that edifies and enlightens if our heart is open to the Lord. Death is not the most attractive alternative, but it is the only way to eternal life-life in Him. The invitation of Jesus is to do what He did ? Come and Die.
