Contributor Bio: McCormick, Carlo Carlo McCormick is a pop culture critic, curator and Senior Editor of Paper magazine. His numerous books, monographs and catalogs include Beautiful Losers: Contemporary Art and Street Culture, The Downtown Book: The New York Art Scene 1974-1984, and Dondi White: Style Master General. His work has appeared in Art in America, Art News, Artforum and many other publications. Contributor Bio: Pettibon, Raymond Born in 1957 in Tucson, Arizona, and now lives in Hermosa Beach. After graduating in Economics from UCLA, he worked briefly as a high school math teacher. Pettibon has acquired an international reputation as one of the foremost contemporary American artists working with drawing, text, and artist's books.
