They learn the wooden leg of Santa Anna, the General responsible for the massacres at the Alamo and Goliad, is in a museum in Springfield, Illinois. The ladies feel the leg belongs in Texas and their plans to retrieve Generals Santa Anna's wooden leg goes from what they believe to be a well-thought-out strategy to a comedy of errors.
