The simple, eight-room motel sits isolated on a lonely desert highway, a never-traveled secondary ribbon of road crossing a barren landscape. Half the rooms are occupied, permanent residents choosing for their own reasons to live in this ethereal world that is untouched, unseen by the outside world.
