The Small Space Where The Sidewalk Ends Sabrina Listenbee

My father's love for us showed, even when he

was at his lowest. He gave fatherhood his all.

His drinking was understood to be his escape

from the wounds of World War II, while losing

his Christian wife and mother of his seven young

children to cancer. He kept his promise to her to

keep all of them together and to carry on in life.

My father has since passed, but I will never forget

the life lessons taught on Dart Street where I lived

in a small SPACE between where the sidewalk

began, and where the sidewalk ends
