Harlem Raiders
Peter J Pranzo
Following the overdose deaths of two high school teens, one community elder tells the story of a diverse narcotics team called the HARLEM RAIDERS, who back in the 1970s found an unlikely ally, a local black female community leader, as they took on a trio of Mafioso families bent on destroying their community for profit, leaving a path of dead and grieving. Over time, the narcs were shadowed by a rogue, undercover black female DEA agent who used her skills to covertly protect them as they worked together to defeat a trio of Mafioso families who had flooded their Harlem community with heroin. Based on a true story of the 70s and 80s in New York City, the HARLEM RAIDERS explores what can happen when police and community go color blind for the common good to save what they love.
