James doesn't believe in ghosts, so when he starts dreaming about a gothic manor and a strange boy, he writes it off as stress. There's enough horror in his psych degree. He doesn't need it in his sleep. However, as his days fill with Harvard, his nights keep to the manor, and the more he learns about the boy - about Gray - the more invested he becomes. Which is ridiculous. Gray is beautiful, but he's cold, curt, and altogether too emotional for James to handle, so why does the feeling that Gray is dead - or very soon will be - continue to haunt James even when he wakes up? Even if he did believe in the supernatural, Gray would already be long gone. Dead far before James was even born. A ghost. Wasn't he?
