Hiding in a forbidden room in the family bookstore, twins Novela and Reid see their parents whisper an incantation to a strange book, and disappear. When their parents don't return, and their grandfather has a heart attack, the children must figure out the magic of the book so they can find their parents, save their grandfather, and protect the magic book from a thief.
