A wood elf and a dark elf, Dorlyn and Vylkur, have taken refuge in the sanctuary city of Lehnos because their love was shunned by both of their peoples. There, as they made a life together, a fiery redheaded half-breed mercenary, Liandrya, became more than a typical, casual fling. Though the mated men knew the half-elf was not immortal as they were, she still managed to work her way into their hearts and turned the couple into a trio.
