This book contains sermons offered that are based on the Episcopal Lectionary schedule for the seasons of Advent, Christmas and Ordinary after the Epiphany, in Years A, B, and C. They were written and published on a blog maintained by Robert Tippett, relative to the calendar dates 2013-14, 2014-15, and 2015-16. Robert Tippett is not an ordained minister, in the sense that he does not possess a diploma from a school of religion and is not employed by a church organization. He is a confirmed Episcopalian; but moreover, he is moved by the Holy Spirit to write about Scripture and make his message publicly heard. His blog is named Bus Stop Sermons, which is a fictitious place where he preaches. These sermons have been made freely available and on a timely basis, but Robert feels the time has come to make his messages be more widely accessible. This book is one in a series that contains the subtitle "From the Untrained Mind."
