The apocalyptic cult that promises to solve both of his problems only ensnares him in yet-deeper danger as they make the most audacious fake of all time. When a genuine treasure found in the center of Rome launches the appearance of the fake, Tanny's metallurgical expertise is called upon to debunk it, shutting the door on Marc's only chance of escape.
